We carry out selected mechanical repairs, brake and suspension work, inspections and fault diagnosis on cars and light vehicles.
As all vehicles are collected and returned, minimum labour charges apply. These charges cover the time required to collect the vehicle, inspect or repair it, and return it to the customer.

Labour is charged at £55 plus VAT per hour, plus parts, consumables and any disposal charges where applicable.
The relevant minimum charge applies even where the inspection or repair itself takes less than the minimum period, as collection and return time forms part of the booking.

When booking, please include as much information as possible about the fault, warning lights, noises, symptoms and any previous diagnosis. We will review the information and confirm whether the job is suitable before collection.
Work we may be unable to carry out
Some jobs may be declined where specialist equipment or facilities are required. This can include electrical fault-finding, vehicle programming, welding, wheel alignment, pressed wheel bearings, air-conditioning repairs, cambelt/camchain work and certain manufacturer-specific procedures.
Where possible, we will explain this before the booking is confirmed.
All prices are subject to confirmation. Additional labour will not be carried out without customer approval. Diagnostic or inspection charges remain payable where no repair is authorised or where the fault cannot be completed by Durrants Ltd.
